I just purchased 2 Panasonic CF-19 MK8. In the Device Manager there was something like a folder named Panasonic(I don't know what else to call it) Under that folder there wre 2 drivers;
(1) SID0019.SYS,
(2) SID0021.SYS.
I uninstalled these 2 drivers. I also checked the box "Disable Device Also".
I still have these 2 drivers on the other CF-19. I tried to Copy them on USB Flash drive, &, tried to Re-Install them. But, I am unable to re-Install them.
I am also wondering, what are these 2 drivers for ?
Reply: From your description, I think this is the driver used to link external devices; it may be a card reader, a camera, or a high-speed external interface device, etc.. Although disabling this device will not affect the use of the system, it will result in The external device cannot be linked to the system, so I recommend that you do not disable this driver.
In addition, the driver cannot be installed by only copying the two files SID0019.SYS and SID0021.SYS. To install driver, INF installation configuration file is required, and the file is generally in the C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository folder. There are many folders inside, and you can search for a folder containing SID0019.SYS or SID0021.SYS. Then copy the entire folder to another machine, so that you can install it.
I found some image information online and hope to be useful to you.
